ANALYSIS OF ESE SEQUENCE DURATION

NARRATIVE RESULTS

Two-way mixed ANOVA analysis showed an overall significant increase in the latency of the sequences from day 10 to day 17 of training (F(1,12) = 18.545, p < 0.01). However,
there was a significant day x group interaction (F(1,12) = 5.087, p < 0.05), indicating that this increase was specifically influenced by the pharmacogenetic maipulation. 
Simple effects analysis (separate one-way ANOVAs) confirmed that only WT mice significantly extended the time of action (F(1,6) = 30.545, p < 0.01), whereas CRE animals remained
with the invariable sequence latencies across training F(1,7) = 1.624, p = 0.250).
